Christina Applegate, the Dead to Me star talks about her struggles with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in a new interview with Vanity Fair.
She says, “With the disease of MS, it's never a good day.” According to her, even little things like taking a shower can be frightening due to the risk of falling and slipping.
Applegate also talked about how she took things for granted before her MS diagnosis in 2021, adding that carrying things, and going down the stairs is challenging.
Applegate explained that she doesn't like to be around many people and tries to keep things as quiet and as mellow as possible.
Applegate has her friend who lives with her during the week to help take care of her daughter, and on the weekends, she has a caretaker.
She tries to avoid too much stimulation of the nervous system as it can be overwhelming. She also revealed that gravity can pull her down and cause her to lose her balance.
Christina Applegate said that her everyday life with MS is exhausting. She also stated that MS never gives her a good day.
